Mickey Cowden
President, Founder
Mickey Cowden, President of Cowden Technologies, Inc. is the sole founder and shareholder of the company. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a B.S. degree in Mathematics. He has since worked in industry for almost 20 years, primarily as a Software Engineer, but more recently as a Roboticist and Entrepreneur. Mickey is also the President of the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Ridge and Valley Chapter that serves Southwest Virginia.
Heather Walters
Marketing Specialist
Heather is a creative designer from the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia with more than 20 years of design experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in graphic design and a master's degree in digital marketing. Heather also owns The Trillium Collective, LLC, and works with small businesses, academic companies, universities, and technology industry clients to help them with their design and marketing needs. She is a frequent teacher on the topics of graphic design, web design, motion graphics, and digital disruption at area universities and community colleges.
